Appeals are oftentimes a necessary part of litigation. Cauley Pridgen, P.A. has experienced appellate attorneys and extensive appellate experience in both state and federal courts. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

Arbitration and mediation are effective means of resolving disputes without the costs of litigating civil matters. Arbitration and manditory mediation clauses in contracts have become very common. Cauley Pridgen, P.A. has attorneys who are skilled in the negotiations necessary to represent you in these types of proceedings.  We have attorneys who are certified Superior Court Mediators and who have served as arbitrators. These ADR experiences bring a unique understanding of the process and skills required to reach a successful outcome.

Workers’ Compensation

The North Carolina General Assembly created the Industrial Commission in 1929 to administer the state’s first Workers’ Compensation Act. Tailored to address the complex issues arising from workplace injuries and occupational diseases, the Act provides compensation to injured workers pursuant to the criteria set forth in Chapter 97 of the North Carolina General Statutes.

Cauley Pridgen, P.A. represents municipalities, employers and injured workers across the state to assist them in effectively resolving all claims brought before the Industrial Commission and appellate courts.
