Kelly V. Chase

Mrs. Chase focuses her legal practice on municipal and commercial real estate matters including downtown development, municipal redevelopment, planning, land use issues, eminent domain and affordable housing. Kelly assists her clients with the acquisition, disposition, financing, development and all aspects of real property transaction. In addition, she has experience representing banks, corporations, public entities and individuals in real estate and commercial transactions and litigation. Mrs. Chase has handled a number of housing issues including HUD Rental Assistance Demonstration transactions, mixed finance redevelopment transactions, Fair Housing issues, Section 8 file auditing, and public housing lease review and drafting. Prior to and during law school, Mrs. Chase worked for the largest privately owned real estate brokerage in North Florida in its corporate relocation services division. Since beginning her career as an attorney in 2009 in Florida, Mrs. Chase has provided legal services for all aspects of real property including foreclosures, condemnation, code enforcement, purchase and sale transactions, leases, affordable housing and fair housing issues, and public and commercial development as well as many other real property issues. As such, Mrs. Chase has over 25 years of real estate and property experience.

Mrs. Chase joined the law firm of Cauley Pridgen, PA in 2012 after relocating to North Carolina from Florida. In addition to being licensed to practice before all state courts in North Carolina, she is licensed to practice before the US District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Kelly is married with two sons. When she is not representing her clients at the office, she enjoys travelling, camping and spending time with her family.
